[SOLVED] Very strange problem with manufacturers

We are starting to list all the products in our shop, however we have encountered a strange problem. We cannot see the manufacturer in the drop down box. there are two there at the moment but we cannot see the others we have added. They are there on the front page of the shop but not on the drop down box.

Any help would be appreciated.

do you use them at other products?i think only the man.s which are not 'empty' are shown!

No there are no products with the manufacturer listed yet. We are trying to add the manufacturer to the new products. We have created the manufacturer and can view and edit the listing. It just will not appear in the drop down box. Very frustrating!!!!

I think I may have solved it. Enter your manufacturers as normal. Then exit the BO program. Open up the back office again and the manufacturers should then be in the drop down box.

Now I am running into this problem. I have my manufacturers set up and are all visible on the front page, but the drop down box in the "add new products" page is empty. Please, someone update us on how to fix this? Thank you!

Ahh, I found the problem with mine, feel free to disregard the previous post.

I had originally set up the shop in a subdirectory of my domain and later moved it back to the base directory. In the set up, it asks for the path to your shop. Mine was blank. I added a single / and it works fine now, can see manufacturers on the drop down box again.

turn force compile on for smarty. when you are done changing the main features of BO, turn it off. This should help. I am available for hiring if it doesn't work for you or you cannot do it yourself. [email protected]
