Shipping same as billing address only.

Is there a way to force shipping to be same as Billing address only, i do not want customers to enter random shipping address, i want it so order must be sent to same as billing address!?

 

Ive looked in BO but i cant find the option? im running 1.5.

 

Reading through some posts using search, it seems this was the way PS used to work, but was then changed with an update with no option to continue to use this method?

I have the same issue. I would like a rule set up where billing needs to match

shipping to prevent fraud. i'm running 1.6. is there a solution to this?

Same for me, here the solution I found:

 

I hard changed the code on the files (on the theme/default-bootstrap/) order-address.tpl and addresses.tpl

On these two files, I hide fields letting the customer to add/choose address.

using

style="display:none;

to hide the combo for choosing adress, but allowing the use of the default values - which is the billing address.

 

or the commenting balise ( <!-- text to hide --> )

to hide the button like "Add new addesse"...

 

 

Now in my front end they don't have choice, only one address.
