Walrus
When customer buys a virtual product and payment is accepted, Prestashop sends an email containing a download link. However, before they receive it, they also receive another that contains variables in the place of links (see attached screenshots). How do I stop Prestashop sending the first (#1), unnecessary, email? I would just find it irritating, so don't want customers to feel the same way. Thanks. Walrus
Thanks....I think I have the correct options selected: Payment accepted - download_product Remote payment accepted - download_product Authorisation accepted from PayPal - download_product I am using a default_bootstrap template, BTW. El Patron
I don't know this for sure, i.e. if mail alerts sends the virtual download email or not. Try this, uninstall and then re-install the mail alerts module.
Walrus
Thanks...I think this is a bug as PS shouldn't be sending an alert email that contains variables, regardless of which options are selected in status preferences. I will bug it.
