Home tabs not self populating

Hi Folks,

 

I wonder if anyone can help.

 

I have added some products into my catalog, however they don't show in the home tabs until I click onto one of the options. 

 

For example my new arrivals don't appear on the homepage until you click the new arrivals button.

 

Is there a setting I may have changed? or do I need to alter a setting?  I'm new to using prestashop and am learning slowly.

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did you "hook" the new arrivals on the "displayHome"?

You find that under "modules"-->"positions"

You see all the hooks, find DisplayHome and see which modules are in there. If it's not in you have to "transplant a module"

You select "new products" in the first and "displayHome" in the second pull down and that's it.

This principle is for all functionality.

Thanks for your response. 

 

I tried that but it didnt work. 

 

As I had the 3 tabs "New Arrivals / Popular / best seller" it was just that I had to click the tabs to view the items.

 

This has now been resolved, as it turned out the theme I am using needed my global.js file to be tweaked.
