Walrus
When customer logs into account, a 'Hello, Forename Surname' greeting is added to the top navbar. This can look ugly when customer has capitalised one but not the other name. For example, 'Forename surname' or 'forename Surname.' It looks like text transform is set to none but not sure in which template (have searched high and low). Any clues appreciated. Thanks.
unlimitedgrain
You can change this in "translation" I don't know where that specific element is located, but there is also module translation. In this case you don't translate but change the text. You can also change labels, etc. e.g. Product = Article good luck
Paulito
Hello Using PS 1.6.0.11 Add this code to the bottom of global.css /* Capital letters on first and last name */ .header_user_info a {text-transform: capitalize!important;} Before http://screencast.com/t/1N3sr8kq5OJp After http://screencast.com/t/EgdLvedl Paul Edited February 15, 2015 by Paulito (see edit history)
Walrus
Thanks, Paul. I should've said I was using custom template. Adding your suggestion to global CSS made no difference. However, I managed to track down blockuserinfo.css with your clue and when I added your suggestion, the text transformed (as expected). Not sure why that is so because both the default and the custom templates contain blockuserinfo modules, and you managed to change it in the default template. Oh, well... Walrus
I would think, probably wrongly, if you make a change in global.css, then it will take precedence over the other CSS files. Especially if you add !important to the rule. In this case, change only takes place if I change a specific CSS.
unlimitedgrain
why changing css when you can do it in translations?
Walrus
You cannot do this in translations because the name is a variable.
