Ajax is enabled (tried to disable & enable it but it's not workin) the ajax request is correctly sent with the following parameters : controller: cart add: 1 ajax: true qty: 1 id_product: 338 token: 4d31fba337c044296c55974a10522799 ipa: 439 the response in my console seems pretty empty : {"products":[],"discounts":[],"shippingCost":"0,00 \u20ac","shippingCostFloat":0,"wrappingCost":"0,00 \u20ac","nbTotalProducts":0,"total":"0,00 \u20ac","productTotal":"0,00 \u20ac","freeShipping":"0,00 \u20ac","freeShippingFloat":0,"hasError":false,"crossSelling":false} (I saw in a working one that the json should contains the cart info) No javascript/php errors I tried several browser, disable the cache and flushin cookie ... but still. The website is hosted on http://md.numerogeek.com ( log / pwd are test / test ) It's a dev domain. Martin Uker K Posted February 12, 2015 Share Posted February 12, 2015 Hi, I'm not able to point out where the problem is, but I can tell you that your CartController.php is working fine. The problem is more deeper than that. Your Cart knows how much product he has. If you add a product to your cart, then change page, you may notice that you have a number of product in your cart... If you have somewhere to look into it would be Cart.php or product.php. You may have an override somewhere (from a module) or an error in your theme. I suggest that you try with the default theme, just to test. If it still doesn't work, you clearly have a module/override problem. Something is removing the product reference following its adding. I tried to replace the Product.php & Cart.php with the fresh ones on the pretashop repo (stable version of course) I also tried to remove for a moment the override directory ... Still the same. More for moral support, maybe we can try a few things. post you ps version. 1. remove the restricted access login from the website...maybe this is causing an issue. I have seen others who have cart issue when shop in maint. mode, I know this is not your case but it's still restricting access. if that does not help 2. back office-->advanced parms-->performance-->go to debug mode-->here disable first 'disable all ovrerrides', then restest...if problem persists then set 'disabled non-prestashop modules) and retest. could java be less helpful when it has issues? cresus Posted February 12, 2015 Author Share Posted February 12, 2015 thnaks for your reply, I thought that it was a new theme problem, so I updated my 1.6.0.8 top 1.6.0.11 few days ago, Still. I tried to deactivate the htpassword, still (I also have the problem locally by the way...) I tried to disable all override & all non prestashop module, still the same. I've replace the code in the blockcart, but in the product-list.tpl I do not have the "add_to_cart_container pull-right" but a "ajax_add_to_cart_button". So I tried in the product.tpl but the page broke (like if there is an error in the smarty) You think it's related to the tpl ? Because the ajax request is sent correctly to the server. The problem seems to come from the server/answer. The answer is a valid json array, but completely empty... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I really think its a template problem but i cant be sure at 100%, seems a problem about json cart Try to passed to default theme and if it work replace all files associated to the cart action, this's the quickest way. Select NO for AJAX-cart 2. Try your domainname URL with and without www (for loads of people the domain without www solved their cart problem). Let me know if any of these solved your issue.
