I have about 2000 categories/subcategories - imported from external sources (30 categories each has about 5 subcategories, each subcategory has about 15 (sub)sub categories and about 15 products in each su-sub category)

Because the menu with all categories is loaded to each page it makes page slow because it has about 350KB.
Is there a way to tell Presta not to load into the category menu tree all but just to certain level deep?

Does someone have this heavy category tree? Any hints how can I handle it - because also in administration when I want to edit a product it takes like 3 minutes to load it with all 2000 categories and even longer to submit it
