shipping by USPS is not calculating weights correctly

hello

I am having troubles trying to figure out how is the weight is being calculated in the USPS Shipping module.

 

i have the first class & priority & express activated.

the first class mail ranges are between (0.010000 and 0.140000)

 

Now i have a product weights (0.120000)

If 1LB = 16 ounces which is (.160000). if i add 2 of that item, the weight should exceed the the max weight for the first class. but the first class option still shows. it only disappears when i add 7 of that item.

 

do i need to set the value for the LB somewhere? or what am i missing here?
