htmlentities Invalid multibyte sequence in argument

I keep getting this errors:

 

[09-Jan-2015 16:51:53 Europe/Lisbon] PHP Warning: htmlentities() [<a href='function.htmlentities'>function.htmlentities</a>]: Invalid multibyte sequence in argument in /home/.../public_html/"mysite"/classes/Tools.php on line 692
 

 

I search the forum and aplied a fix in the Tools.php file but it didn't work. The error maitained. Can any one please advise what to do?

 

My ps version is 1.6.0.9

Can you please check on your host what do you have on line 692 of tools ?
