[Solved] UK tax 17.5 breaks price

Solved - We didn't add the tax to the right zone bit of a wetware failure there

Hello all

I have a very big problem when I set my taxes at 15% they are fine e.g. the products display like this (the correct way)

£79.99 tax incl.
£69.56 tax excl.

On the same product if I set the tax to 17.5% (what the tax will be in January) it displays like this

£68.08 tax incl.
£68.08 tax excl.

In the back office it says
"Pre-tax retail price:£68.076596"
"Tax: VAT 17.5% (17.5%)"
"Retail price with tax:£79.990000"

Obviously its not showing correctly in the front office could some one please help me or when January comes around my website will be useless

EDIT - when i set the tax to 17% it works so its a problem with the 0.5% this will be a problem for all UK shops in Jan any one know of a fix?

Hi Drew,

how did you fix the problem?

I manually edited my whole shop in the BO and all looked good until I got to the FO and all my prices are wrong as you described.

i went to the back office> payment>taxes>edit 17.5%> and added the UK and europe zones

thats what fixed the issue for me hope it helps

any time thats the fantastic thing about prestashop most problems you encounter some one on the fourm can tell you how to fix

Very true. Sometimes you know the answer is in the BO but need to be pointed in the right direction.

I'm really pleased with the shop I have setup using PS and the forum has been so helpful and informative.

Now the shop appears to be all setup lets hope the shoppers come and spend their money.
