Catalog price rules suddenly stopped applying [SOLVED]

My catalog price rules have suddenly stopped applying for only SOME members of a group.  

 

I have 4 catalog price rules for a "Resellers" group, works beautifully.  

 

But when I login to the FO as a client from that group - the box showing their discounts on the product pages is not showing , and the discounts are not applied.  

 

I log-in as another client from the same group, and it's all working.

 

Any ideas?  This is a really important feature I need back really quickly!

 

It all worked fine last night and I haven't changed anything relating to groups or price rules.  Taxes were activated briefly, then deactivated.  What could affect only some members of a group??

Summary Solution:

 

Although the customer group was the same, the countries of the customers were different. The catalog rules were made country dependent (Only allowed for customers from country France), so customers from other countries didn't get the discount.
