webbusiness23
I have an .xls file with 3000+ products. There are some columns defined(item, name, color, picture, etc.).Is there any possibility to upload the images via ftp and then import the product list directly to my site? If the answer is yes, how can i tell each product to go to a specific category, and more than that, how could i define attributes and how can i set the price, etc? rocky
See the wiki. You need to create a CSV file in the correct format, then go to Tools > Import to upload and import the file.

Is there a file that these letters can be added to to solve this.I am astonished no one else has come up with this problem. I have used several versions of PS and all are the same
mustluvpets
There is absolutely nothing in any of these forums that I can find that is actually helpful with creating the CSV. Even the "samples" are useless. Can someone please link me or show me a csv that actually works? Every time I used the available fields and fill them out and import, i get about 30 errors, no explanation as to what is wrong or how to fix them or what to do. If I could suggest STOP TELLING US HOW TO IMPORT, there are hundreds and hundreds of videos and blog posts but NOTHING about creating the csv.
