Tip: how to display image wthout regenerating, and without move image options

Hi I experiement new thing here display image after upgrade without move image or regenerating options. below are the steps .

 

1. I use 1 click upgrade so its installed already

2. Disbale all those module which are not in use dont display in front but are for front also uninstall them so then dont get instaaled and enabled after new version upgrade.

3. DIsable cacha 

4. DIsable Friendly URl and regenerate .htaccess using regenerate .htacess option for 1.4+ and enable multiostore then disable option for 1.5+ 

5. Reload the site front and check if images are loading fine.

6.Copy your updated theme or same your theme which you want to upgrade in locacdirectory-->prestashop-->theme folder 

6. DIsable non native module set to No 

7. Upgrade to default theme set to No 

8  Now use exprt more with local directory option and enter the PS upgrade version in my case it was 1.5.6.2

9.Also note down diminsions of your main category Defualt big and small images diminsions 

10 All set click one click upgrade done

11. One upgrade refresh disable maintanance mode 

12. Go To preferences--> images 

13. Check out diminsions for all iamges which you used before are same category default will be 500^500 and product small will be 58*58 for PS 1.5 change it to the one you had before 

14. Enable legacy image system to yes

15. Now go to SEO and URl enable friendly URLS and other optiosn if you were using ebfore cannonical etc 

16. Regnerate .htacess all done check front end all iamges are going to be tehre 
17. If not check diminsions of iamge that might be product and generate new ones. using inspect element
