customflygrips Posted August 5, 2014 Share Posted August 5, 2014 My shop seems to be a little slow since I have switched to using v1.6 (fresh install, not upgrade). It can take anywhere from 5-7 seconds to add products to the cart. I fear that I am missing out on sales as a result of the very long lag time. There are two things that I think may be causing the issue, but I would appreciate some input from the community to help me out. 1: I am on shared hosting and have been thinking about switching to VPS if it will improve this issue and my shop's performance. 2: I have a few shipping options set up that do not want to display in the shopping cart. If it is trying to make sense of the ones that do not work, will deleting those options help with the issue?
