CSS Overide

Hi,

 

I am trying to merge two themes together but have limited html and css knowledge. From looking at the file structure it appears the tpl files in the theme folder allow you to custom code the pages, but I dont see any links to the css documents in the tpl files. I therefore presume this is coded somewhere else.

 

My question is could I have two css folders and key tpl files such as 404.tpl links to the new css folder?

you can do it but the question is what you exactly want to merge?

generally to modifications like that you will need to know a little more about css styles

So in a nutshell, i paid a company to built a website for me. They have done some of the pages and not the others, or they dont look like they should and they are now refusing to complete the job for me. 

 

I am happy with certain parts of the website and pages such as the header, index, blog etc. other pages however I dont like or arent even finished / started. I have found a theme with these pages that I am happy with so was hoping I could mix the new theme pages i dont have on my website to give me a fully functional site. I know that in a normal website you just link the css stylesheet in the page itself. My thoughts were is there some find of system override so for certain pages i.e. the ones from the theme it refers to a different css folder so I can keep both looks.
