Error 500 on product description page

Hi,

 

I am very new to this and I thought I was getting the hang of it quite well but have come up against my first big problem that I don't how to fix? 

 

I am building my store and I am really happy with it so far. However I went to my demo site to view what I had done and when I click on the product to view the description it kicks up an error 500 page. It does it for every product I try clicking on, however it was working fine last week and I have not done anything different. I don't know if it is something I have done wrong (although all I have been doing is adding products, I have not touched any settings and no one else uses my laptop) or whether it could be a problem with the xampp local host that I have been using? 

 

If someone could help me I would be very grateful, I am very much a beginner at this and I don't want to continue if there is something wrong.

I have just worked out this only happens if I go into the website as a customer, I have discounts set up for registered customers. Now when I view the site as a guest it works but as soon as I try logging in as a customer it comes up with the error message. Not sure why this has happened if anyone can help?

What PS version?

What's the URL?

Did you try to enable DEV_MODE (/config/defines.inc.php) ?

Him thank you for replying, I think I may have fixed it. Where my computer had updated for some reason it took my xampp out of administration mode. I went in and changed this and it (touch wood) seems to be working properly again. But thank you for taking the time to reply
