Hello,

In the past few days I decided to regenerate my images. But I cannot i get this error:

Cannot write "No picture" image to (products) images folder. Please check the folder's writing permissions.

I checked the folder permission it is set to 755

It didnt work on v. 1.5.6 and after upgrading to 1.6 it also dosen't work.

Maybe someone can help me with this!

Thank you!

hello again,

well I did change the CMOD to 777, I used SSH command. But after trying to regenerate images i get the same error:

Cannot write "No picture" image to (products) images folder. Please check the folder's writing permissions.

"No picture" what this means? Maybe it does'nt find a "NO Picture" file and this is why it breaks the operation?

I found similar question: http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/117953-cannot-write-no-picture-image-to-categories-images-folder-please-check-the-folders-writing-permissions/

Also not yet SOLVED.

Ok.

Having checked the source file, this error message is misleading.

You will get this error whether you have right permissions or not.

Check if you have the 'no-image' files .e.g.:- img/p/en-default-home_default.jpg

:) YES! You are a CHAMPION!!!

You are right, I was missing the "img/p/en-default-home_default.jpg"!!!!! After uploading  it from another version of Prestashop, it starts working!

The problem is SOVED!!!

THANK YOU  SO MUCH!
