Multi Shop will not enable

I switched hosts the other day and made a backup of prestashop 1.6.0.5. When i went to the new host the only option was 1.6.0.6. Everything went fine except when I try and enable multi store it says its enabled but does not show up under Advanced Parameters. 

I have checked under Admin/Menus/Advanced Parameters/ and multi store is not enabled. If i enable it the error I get is An error occurred while updating an object. tab (Unknown column 'hide_host_mode' in 'field list')

Any ideas?

what you mean by that? that you imported database from 1.6.0.5 to 1.6.0.6 ?

To be honest I'm not sure that it makes any difference but the original host was running PS 1.6.0.5 and the new host is running 1.0.6.6 version. I don't know if that makes any difference, I'm assuming it does. Yes I imported the db from 1.6.0.5 to 1.6.0.6

this is why it doesnt work.

there are several differencies between database, so databse from 1.6.0.5 will not work in 1.6.0.6

you have to install 1.6.0.5 version

I downloaded 1.6.0.5 imported my database and then used 1 click to update to 1.6.0.6 and everything is as it should be and works fine

Hi there,

 

I re-open this topic because i have the same problem but it's not due to the fact that i done an update of Prestashop.

 

I tried to install a module who put a tab in backoff menu.

 

Does anyone has an idea what should i do to solve this?
