ovidiu.calbajos Posted May 13, 2014 Share Posted May 13, 2014 Hello all, First of all I want to say that Prestashop is awesome, it's my first time when I'm actually using an ecommerce platform and I just love it. My problem started when I changed the domain name of the shop. I've already searched the internet, done all the possible things but my installation keeps redirecting to the old domain name. What I did is: - changed the name domain name in the database from ps_configuration PS_SHOP_DOMAIN and PS_SHOP_DOMAIN_SSL - change the domain name in SEO & URLs - regenerated the .htaccess file - cleared the cache of the shop - cleared the cache of the computer I've tested on 2 browsers with the same results However every time I login to the admin area *newdomain/admin1234 it shows me this message: "You are currently connected under the following domain name: *newdomain" even if as I said before I've already changed those settings. ovidiu.calbajos Posted May 13, 2014 Author Share Posted May 13, 2014 After cleaning the cache the FO has gone, on Google Chrome I get "This webpage has a redirect loop" and on Firefox "The page isn't redirecting properly", however I'm able to login to BO. ovidiu.calbajos Posted May 13, 2014 Author Share Posted May 13, 2014 Update 2 After changing the SEO & URL's from *newdomain to www.*newdomain the FO started to work again. Now I think that the problem is related to that module. I'm willing to help the developers solve this bug, I can provide server's log and access to the server if need.
