_stardust_
Hello all My client just informed me that there site is not working... http://shop.britishmotorcycle.com.au but if you go to a page within the site... http://shop.britishmotorcycle.com.au/3-triumph it works. Not sure if they did something i dont know about or if it was hacked? Maybe I should upgrade? Thank you in advance.
El Patron
upgrade? I don't think that is a good choice. turn on errors to get underlying code issue. If you do not know how read this: http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/224525-how-to-turn-on-error-reporting-for-debug-information/

El Patron
I do not see anything that would cause the front page to stop, i.e. these are all low level warnings that do not cause the script to stop. @error_reporting(E_ALL ^E_STRICT); in config/defines.inc.php set the link above as shown. recreate (re-visit) front page to see if we can see the fatal error. also check your hosting account error log. _stardust_
I'm sorry i don't understand. Put @error_reporting(E_ALL ^E_STRICT); in the defines.inc.php file? The client got this from the hosting company just now... El Patron
there is an issue with modules/editorial/editorial.php can you disable this module to see if you can access front office?
_stardust_
Yes! It was the 'Home Text Editor' module. Thank you so much Why do you think it was this module?
El Patron
Yes! It was the 'Home Text Editor' module. Thank you so much Why do you think it was this module? the error message (fatal error above) shows us it was this module, [30-Apr-2014 13:22:22 Australia/Brisbane] PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined method Editorial::getCacheId() in /home/britishm/public_html/shop/modules/editorial/editorial.php on line 301 it's very typical, customer says we didn't do anything...and unless 'very' savvy (i.e. using ftp look at file dates to see what has been updated), then one spins around and around....i.e. get's paid very little for customer not being forthright in what they did or did not do. I wrote a module (marketed under trojan) but in fact tells one exactly what/when the file system has been changed. Then it's easy to say, but the editorial module changed etc. see my signature for link to shop/prestavault module. luck!
