Error configuring shipping modules

Recommended Posts

I can fill out the main configuration page, but when I submit the initial page I am not able to do anything after that, I get these errors.

[PrestaShop] Fatal error in module uspscarrier:
Allowed memory size of 536870912 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 72 bytes)

[PrestaShop] Fatal error in module upscarrier:
Allowed memory size of 536870912 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 72 bytes)

I have tried to un-install and install both modules again. When I first installed them they were partially working and I was getting certain shipping options, but not all the choices and the shipping that was being offered was over-priced. i also had the hosting provider increase the memory from 128 to 512 mb and still get the same error.

I tried to manually clear out the data from the database and re-install the modules which didn't work. Anyone have any ideas.

I installed a fresh copy of 1.6 in the same hosting environment and I am able to configure the shipping modules with the same credentials, so I know it isn't the login credentials nor the server.

I checked the logs in mysql_slow_queries and none of them were related to configuring the shipping carriers.

I can try and connect with Bluehost tech services to see about the script causing the mem leak.

I did a fresh install of 1.6.6 and I was able to configure the carriers. I made a copy of my 1.5.6 install and database and moved it to a test URL and upgraded the version to 1.6.6 and I still got the errors. I then configured the upgraded site to connect to the fresh install of 1.6.6 and I could remove the carriers and re-install them and modify them. I feel like it is something corrupted in the database , some table that I am missing that has something in it that causes it to hang or not get to the finish line.

I am tempted to just try and move my categories, products and attributes over to the clean install since we haven't technically turned on the site to take orders. Is there a easy way to move product from one database to another. I know importing the product was quite tedious with the attributes.
