Different store front/landing page

Hey there, I'm new to prestashop but have used different CMS' in the past. I've been researching this for the last couple of days and can't quite figure it out. My boss wants to upgrade our old CMS (interspire shopping cart) to something modern, new and supported. I mentioned Prestashop and it looks like the way to go.

 

Now, the owner wants something a little unique which I can't quite figure out, that is, when our customers land on our homepage, we want more of a directory leading you to the different aspects of our business (video assist rentals, techs, products, etc...), one of those links would lead you to the store, the prestashop storefront. Can I use Prestashop to create that homepage? It would have a different navigation but with the same theme to make the transition to the store more seamless. The store would  have a different navigation with it being geared towards products categories(monitors, cameras, gear) rather than business categories like on the homepage.
