Trouble Shooting and General "Check Up"

I am version 1.5.3.1.  Suddenly our site is incredibly slow in the back office.  We  have checked and double checked virus's/settings on the cPanel on the new Vps server we upgraded to a couple of months ago.  But everything drags severely all of the sudden.  I am wondering if someone could give me a quote to take a look at my site to see why this is happening and also to look at my other settings to determine if we are using Prestashop to the best of it's ability.  Please send a message/quote here to my inbox.  Thanks a million.

Have you checked with your hosting company the resources that you have been allocated? Albeit that you have a VPS you may find that the server you are on is being oversold and thus impact on the overall performance of all clients on that server.

 

The other question is are you using cloud hosting? unless the container that has been set up for you is configured correctly to meet your needs then this can lead to problems.

 

I would suggest that your first port of call is your hosting provider.
