Modifying product-page with only 2 columns

Hello ,

 

I wish to modify product-page so i have only 2 colums

One with the product image  larger than basic theme (640px x 640px) with thumbnails under…

and a second column with all the informations (product's name, ref, price, order btn and else…)

You can see actual (colored) page

 

but i don't know wich files i have to modify…  just product.tpl and product.css  ????

 

Someone to help me to start with some indications ??
