Home button layout problems in 1.6.0.6 and name change

I have 2 questions about the home button in 1.6.0.6:

 

1. How to change the text on the home button?

 

2. After having created a lot of categories it appears a problem with the layout. Please see the attached image. How do I solve this problem ? I would prefer to keep all the sub-categories I have. I suppose it is in a CSS setting somewhere, but, there is a lot of CSS around.

Back office 》 Categories 》 Click the "Edit Pencil" on the right 》 Change name of "Home" to what you require 》Save
