Showing always parent categories in blockcategories

Hello

 

I'm working with a fresh 1.6 installation with the default theme, and I use the module "blockcategories" to navigate throw my categories.

But I have one problem:

when you go to any category, no categories appear in the blockcategories module:

because by default this block always show child categories of current page... I want it to show ALL the categories ALWAYS no matter wich category are you in

 

It is this possible? I spend two days for this and didn't get a thing, help please!

 

PS: I notice that this module works different in footer or top menu, and tried to change the code (copy footer tpl for it, but didn't work neither)
