Prestashop 1.5.6.2 and Dreamweaver

Hi there prestashop Masters,

If am here means that I need Help and hope some one can give it to me.

Am using Prestashop 1.5.6.2  because i was very deceived by the 1.6 version.

My question is what the correct form to edit My site and modify it with dreamweaver cs6.

about 2 months trying but no way. this is what i ve done till now :

1-installed prestashop 1.5.6.2 correctly

2-installed dreamweaver cs6 correctly

3-created a new site in site manager Remote server and local server every thing working freat till now.

4-i edit the index.php from site root dreamweaver ask for discovering it and works fine.

5- i select the html code and open a new page

6- i modify the page adding for example for test a free visitor counter

7- i rename the page as index.php and save it in local folder instead of the original one

8-i upload it to website looks great but all page links are not working they all redirect to the same page.

 

Now plz forget all this and show me the best step by step guide to work on my site with dreamweaver cs6
