kashyyyk
I bought a theme and it's basically a turd. The problem is I can't remove it. If I restore the default theme everything is jacked up. When I installed this theme it installed itself by turning on modules and turning off others. Any one know of a default theme installer that will reset everything to... Default. Item pages won't even load and the rest is sloooow. I know the theme isn't the whole problem, but it is a big part of it. I did use the default theme as a test, the site was all jacked up, but it was fast. Here is my performance report. terrible! http://gtmetrix.com/reports/phryz.com/XCzGl7k5 I applied to Google CDN, just waiting on a response. I use cloudflare for my wordpress sites, but reading elsewhere it's too big a pain with prestashop. I don't want to leave prestashop, I just spent hundreds upgrading, that stupid theme and a couple other things and I'm in to deep with this. I could use the help. Bill Dalton
In modules find the theme installer. You can use this module to "export" the default theme and then install the default theme. See how that works for you. If that doesn't do it for you, see this thread, http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/188370-reset-to-default-activated-positions-for-modules/ Edited April 6, 2014 by Bill Dalton (see edit history)

It mostly reset it. I still have to resize the images again, and go through the hooks and delete all the modules to that paid theme.
Bill Dalton
Well ... at least the light you see at the end of the tunnel isn't a freight train. Good luck!
El Patron
I suggest whenever possible that before loading theme. Do a complete full back up of your shop files and database. back up back up back up...because a restore takes very little time...and you would have already gotten rid of your new arch nemesis.
