Can't login with IE (in BO and as client, cart) - shop in folder

Hi all,

First up: I have searched the whole forum and tried different solutions which resolved it for other people but I wasn't able to fix this.

Problem:

I'm unable to login to the BO with any version of Internet Explorer. (6, 7 and 8). Also logging in as customer or refreshing the cart resolves in problems. (cart empties on refresh, login fails).

However, all above does WORK in Firefox and Chrome...

I have tried the header solution and the swift upgrade (as noted in the forum). I also upgraded to the latest stable version of Presta (1.2.4).

I also have a few other presta shops and those DO work. The only difference is that the shop with the problems is installed in a folder, so not in the root of the server.

Solutions tried/checked:

- Checked the BASE_URI in the settings file and in the database

- Renamed the subfolder (also in the above files)

- Updated to latest version

- Added header fix by MuNieK

- Cross checked settings/permissions with one of the other (working) shops.

- Server settings are the same (even better: all on same server)

Any idea's?
