hmulhim Posted March 25, 2014 Share Posted March 25, 2014 Hello, I tried searching for topics that include Advanced Stock Management and Multistore and Shared Quantities without any help! I am thinking to use Multistore, with different stores for different cities. I might have stock in different cities as well. Should I have all stores within one group that shares quantities? Should I let all stores share the different warehouses? Is it better to have all stores NOT share quantities, and just link them directly to warehouses? This way if a store sells something from a Shared warehouse, quantities will be updated automatically in all stores! is that correct? Then hell yeah link them because it makes keeping track of stuff easier! but since you said that you have stores, each one would have to be setup like the main one, but this is just my opinion i could be wrong, Take my advice as a grain of sand on the beach... But if money is an issue when it comes to this task, keeping store quantities and constantly updating csv's on every store from your main warehouse quantities on the weekly or end of day basis would be the cost effective way.
