so basically
credit slip : is used only if a product is no good to the customer ( broken , not as described etc ) and it verifies that you can have or already have your money back???

order slip : is just the paper that your order was delivered or is on the way ?

merchandise return : is used only if you want to have a client returning items he/she bought back to your shop?

. . . and something last ! :)

how do we use referrer? Back Office >> Stats >> Referrers

Hi again.

>>>> Credit Slip <<<<
Well, think in this situation:
1.- A client buy a product from your store.
2.- He/She pay.
3.- Then 2 things could happen:
A) Before you send the product to the client, he cancel the order.
B) You send the product, but when arrives to the client. He/she send back the product (for any reason that you want, for example, He/She don't like it, etc).
4.- Then, you should return the money to the client, but instead, is better, if you give to client a receipt with the amount of the order. That way he/she can buy in the future in your store, for an amount equivalent to the order.

So, it is a kind of receipt to prove that the client have credit in the store.

>>>> Delivery Slip <<<<
It related with the Credit Slip term. For the products that has been sent back.

>>>> Merchandise Return <<<<
Yes, is used only if you want to have a client returning items he/she bought back to your shop.

>>>> Referrers <<<<
The referrer is the URL of the previous webpage from which a link was followed.
See this:
HTTP referrer

I hope this can help you.

Thank you for the help!trully appreciated!
so basically if i 'activate' RMA do i get to give Credit Slip or no?
and what about delivery slip?Is this active only when i use it with Credit Slip?
or by activating RMA?
for example.
i send a product to client A .
client A receives the product opens it.But he/she notices that i've sent her the wrong color!
And now he/she sends it back!
The cost of the product is 20 euro and the delivery costs 5 euro.
Could you please answer me which is which here?
What i understand is this.
I can now give a credit slip to my client that is 20 euro (this is the credit slip )
but what about the 5 euros of the delivery cost?are they considered as delivery slip?or not?
. . .
sorry for asking 'to' much . . . :D

Hi! First, I am sorry for the delay! I had much work!
But before, I'll tell you that i am not an expert on Prestashop. I have been using it since three months ago. So i am new on this as you. In fact the English is not my language, is Spanish, i am from Mexico, but i speak English. So, i will try to help you with your questions, but don't expect much from me :P

1.- "so basically if i ‘activate’ RMA do i get to give Credit Slip or no?"
R=Yes!

2.- "and what about delivery slip? Is this active only when i use it with Credit Slip?
or by activating RMA?"
R= I am not really sure about this, because i never used it. But i think it is yes.

3.- "but what about the 5 euros of the delivery cost?are they considered as delivery slip?or not?"
R= What i understand is this: The 'delivery slip' is just a receipt that confirm that the package it was delivered. In this case 'slip' means 'receipt'. Is not a Credit for reimburse the money. It just a receipt.

I hope that my answer don't be too late :P
