New categories are not visible in the header rather it is visible in dropdown of home

Hi,

 

When I am adding new categories from back office of the prestashop, it is not visible in the header tag rather it is visble in the drop down of home button or in the left column. Even in the default installtion the 'laptop' category is not present adjacent to 'ipod' and 'accessories' rather it is present in the drop down of home button.

           Please help me with this because i am facing this problem for a long long time.

You need to configure the menu module.

modules > modules 

search for "blocktopmenu" and open menu configuration page

 

remove home item

 

1) click on home

2) click on remove

3) click save

 

 

add new items to menu

1) select separted categories from left hand side block

2) click on "add"

3) save changes
