Gino Dekeyzer
Hello, I'm starting a new webshop and suddenly my footer (who had 5 columns) have now only 2 columns. I have not changed footer.tpl or blockcms.tpl. The only thing I changed recently was the module HTMLbox (deleting an image attached to the footer). Now I've uninstalled this module but with no result. The new webshop is a copy of another who works fine. I copied footer.tpl and blockcms.tpl of this webshop but also with no result. I've also cleared smarty cache. I'm using PS 1.5.6.0. The problem is clear when you visit my webshop and look at the footer: http://www.devijflijnen.be/ (the original webshop, with the correct footer, is http://www.domicasa.be/ ) Can someone help me please? Thanks a lot! Edited February 25, 2014 by Gino Dekeyzer (see edit history)
vekia
as a module author i can help. i checked your website code. take a look: looks weird, don't you think? <!-- <li><a href="http://www.devijflijnen.be/sitemap" title="sitemap">Sitemap</a></li> </ul> </div> <!-- /MODULE Block footer --> it's because of modification of your blockcms module. not because of html box module. remove this comment, it will work then (<!--) btw. this is wrong commenting method. stottycabanas
Beat me to it, Milos! Gino, did you copy the blockcms.tpl file from the working shop to /modules/blockcms and also to /themes/yourtheme/modules/blockcms? Cheers, Dave
Gino Dekeyzer
Milos and Dave, many thanks for your reply. I copied blockcms.tpl from a webshop that have the right footer: http://www.domicasa.be/. I copied it to modules/blockcms and also under my own theme. It is strange that it works under domicasa.be and not under my new webshop http://www.devijflijnen.be/. Finally, I copied the blockcms.tpl from the default theme to my own theme and, after a few modifications, that works fine. So this is solved. Now, I want to change the text in the htmlbox module (attached to my footer). The html text, in my case an image, appears not above the footer but in my footer. Also if I write only a text in the html box module, it appears in the footer and not on top of the footer. See http://www.devijflijnen.be/. It is (again) strange that this module works perfect in that other webshop http://www.domicasa.be/ (that I also have designed) and not in the new one. In which file do I have to make modifications to appears the html text on top of the footer? Thanks!
