notcrack Posted February 24, 2014 Share Posted February 24, 2014 I've just had a major crash on my old install, so had to upgrade everything and then add the old database. Everything seems to working well apart from my inability to add anything to the cart. The animation works, but nothing goes into the cart. Does anyone have any ideas on what I can change? In my case, after upgrading from 1.5.3 to 1.5.6.2 basket stopped working, animation acted as a product to be landed in the basket but did not appear in it. The problem was caused by me using a back up of an old database that had not been upgraded. If you are suffering this issue after an upgrade you must Re-install the first prestashop version you were using. Apply your backed up database Use the one click update process This will change your backup to be compatible with the newer version. Hope this helps someone. This is version of 1.5.6.2 with datebase from 1.5.3.1 I copy almost all table, maybe too much. On my localhost I install version 1.5.3.1 and upload only datebase from my 1.5.3.1 store. Upgrade with 1-click to 1.5.6.2 and copy upgraded datebase to my test store 1.5.6.2 but still cart didn't work. Any ideas? Edit. I did it once again and I think now cart is working, but after upgrade new datebase my products images disappears in front and backoffice. How to quickly restore them?
