Hi,

I have a little problem with the combinations of products. I would like people can't buy product which are not available.
I explain what I mean.

Per example, I have Jacket 1, Jacket 2, Jacket 3, etc.
My Jacket 1 is available in size S, M, L and XL and in colour Green, Yellow and Red with combination:
Size S - Green > 3
Size S - Yellow > 2
Size S - Red > 4
Size M - Green > 1
Size M - Yellow > 3
Size M - Red > 2
Size L - Green > 2
Size L - Yellow > 1
Size L - Red > 3
Size XL - Green > 2
Size XL - Yellow > 1
Size XL - Red > 0

And with default value "Size S - Green".
My problem is if somebody order "Size XL - Red" (not available) is the default value which appears on the basket and any message to say this combination is not possible.

So, my question: How I can do for customer can't selected this combination which is not available?
I tried this code > "show valid attribute combinations in the menu"

but it didn't work with my version of Prestashop (1.2.2.0)

J'ai un problème avec les déclinaisons des produits. J'aimerais que les visiteurs ne puissent acheter des produits qui ne sont pas disponible.
Je m'explique.

Par exemple, j'ai Veste 1, Veste 2, Veste 3, etc.
Ma Veste 1 est disponible en taille S, M, L et XL avec pour couleur Vert, Jaune et Rouge ainsi que les déclinaisons :
Taille S - Vert > 3
Taille S - Jaune > 2
Taille S - Rouge > 4
Taille M - Vert > 1
Taille M - Jaune > 3
Taille M - Rouge > 2
Taille L - Vert > 2
Taille L - Jaune > 1
Taille L - Rouge > 3
Taille XL - Vert > 2
Taille XL - Jaune > 1
Taille XL - Rouge > 0

Avec valeur par défaut "Taille S - Vert".
Mon problème est que lorsque que quelqu'un commande "Taille XL - Rouge" (qui n'est pas disponible), c'est la valeur par défaut qui s'ajoute au panier. Et aucun message pour dire que cette déclination n'est pas possible.

Donc, ma question : comment faire pour que les clients ne puissent sélectionner cette déclinaison qui n'est pas disponible ?

Hi,

I am a bit surprise that nobody uses Prestashop to sell clothes and can't answer to this question.
I saw in "Back Office >> Preferences >> Products" the option "Display unavailable product attributes on product page" but it's look like if for nothing, it doesn't change anything if we choose yes or no.

Now, after some changes on the configuration, when we choose product which is not available in the colour and the size. it hides the field quantity and the button "Add to Cart".
The new problem is, if we go back in another available combination, the field "quantity" reappears but not the button.
Any idea?

Solved (thank to Patric and it's so good answer).
The problem was from the "product.js" which is wrong. I need to use one from an old version of Prestashop.

i have the same problem, and i supposed my product.js is also bad.

Could you tell what version of product.js are using now? (and where is downloadable)

Hi Paco,

My shop is installed with Prestashop 1.2 but the Javascript I use is from the version 1.0 of the script.
I add it as attachment.
