roel450
Hello, I wanted to change some modules in the footer but suddenly the layout was changed. In firefox the footer became very long (see attachment) and in IE the whole layout is changed. When I deactivate the modules from the footer, the footer is small again in firefox but ofcourse there is no content in the footer. In IE the layout stays the same as I deactivate the modules. Does anybody knows how to fix this? Kind regards, Roel
roel450
I found the problem. When I copy the nl.php (dutch language) from the default theme to my own theme (via FTP) the whole layout is messed up. Is there another way to translate my theme from english to dutch? Kind regards,
vekia
remove this nl.php file and then go to localization > translations tab in your back office. then select "front office translations" and just... translate it

vekia
checked your website in IE and this is how it looks: i compared it with chrome, firefox etc. and.... it's just the same! make sure that you cleared browser cache in your internet explorer, maybe this causing issues (browser remember old settings)
roel450
Strange... I cleared the cache etc but it stayed the same. IE was putting the website in Quirks mode for some strange reason... I installed the template again and now it is working again. Thank you for your help! Kind regards,

roel450
IE 9 (I also read that if you use notepad to edit the language files problems can occur... maybe that was the problem in the first place) Edited February 6, 2014 by roel450 (see edit history)
