Add a single product feature value to cart summary

Hi there Prestacommunity,

 

i got a question about modifying the checkout process and the cart summary.

 

My products got several features. On of the features is the "Developer article number".

I´d like to replace the "article number" in the cart summary with the value from the developer article number.

 

Is that possible?

 

Please see attached screenshot for better understanding.

 

Anybody got an idea on how to get this done?

Why you don't add the developer-article-no. instead of your article-no. to the feature ? This than works perfectly. For me I'm using this for EAN and UPC. Artikel-no. is than only for internal purposes and does not take affect on shopping cart or order check-out.

first of all thank you for the answer.

 

My Customer wants the real article number not to show up in article.

This is a special case of products where the "developer Article Number" make sense.

So my customer want`s it to show up in product features.

Sorry, now I' m confused. You deleted the article-no. line in the product page ? This does not take any effect to the check-out process. Simply add to your combinations on reference field the developer article-no. See sample how I did. The same option you have with Prestashop back-end. I'm using presta store manager, therefore you have another screen view. By adding the reference (developer article-no.) to the combination you will have this no. the whole chek-out process (cart and subsequently the order).

thank you again for your help and the screenshots. I`m sorry it seems i described it wrong what i need.

So i`ll try to do it better. Please see screenshot.

 

What you see is a bunch of product features. This has to be done like this cause of customers needs.

 

My question is if it`s possible to select one of that features. "Herst.Art.Nr" and show it in a column within

the checkout cart summary and how this could be done.

Features are Produktmerkmale for a specific product (only for the slave in the case if you are having combinations). Features are designed to cover the whole product and you can use them in check-out process when added as feature.

Please see 1-button-fix module from BlutiGes on the German Forum "Anpassungen nach Deutschem Recht". As you will see on my cart (3rd screen - Absatzform: etc are features) the features of the product are showing there, as well as separately also the reference-no for the combination (US10) the customer is buying.

 

There is no need for extra development, as Prestashop can manage your request as by default.
