Hello, I'm a programmer, and developer Templates, and would love to edit the default template files. But I found several encrypted codes, I wonder, why say open source, they are all encrypted?

.tpl's are smarty templates

if you are developing themes, then you will need to learn how to use .tpl files.

.tpl file is a simple "text" file, you can open it in any text editor you want, notepad, notepad++, geany etc. everything depends on you
