CMS categories and articles

I am using PS version 1.5.6.1. I understand that in CMS, you create a category and then locate articles within that category. Here is my dilemma. I have a rather lengthy article that I would like to break up into smaller parts like this:

 

CMS Home

        Category A

                Main article 1 (links to sub-articles 1 and 2)

                       Sub-article 1

                       Sub-article 2

 

In other words, Main article 1 would contain general content of interest to all, while the sub-articles would contain more specific content.

 

Is it possible to do this? If yes, how would I go about it?
