PayPal is Driving me to DRINK!

So I'm new to PrestaShop and have yet to launch my site as I'm still getting it setup. For some reason, I can't PayPal and Carriers to work and show up in the shopping cart.

 

If I select PayPal Express, the button shows up on the check out page and takes you to the PayPal signin, however if you got through the registration/signup process I get two errors:

1) No Carriers Available (all areas are selected for my one default carrier)

2) Under Payment Method: Error, none of your chosen carriers deliver.....

 

I have tried different combinations of settings, including Express and no Express; One step or Five step; nothing seems to work. 

 

I'm ready to pull my hair out and throw PrestaSHop out the window but don't want to lose the time I have invested to set it up.

I can't help with this one, but I agree that there are things that just don't seem to work here and there. Ultimately I find solutions for them, or do without, but I sometimes I come close to smashing something. Maybe someone else has the answer.

I'm also seriously thinking of switching to another software even though I spent months customizing my theme in PS. I'm no expert but it sounds like your carrier is not set-up correctly or your address is not pointing to it. Have you got all your states/countries, set to the right zone and your carrier set to the right zone? Check your carrier settings.

ive just had this issue with carriers, i went into the products and unselected the 'I want to use the advanced stock management system for this product' button in the Quantities tab and the carriers started to show up in my checkout
