How to install/change new theme from current theme?

I have bought a prestashop theme via Themeforest.

 

I installed prestashop via. Softiculous, which comes with a default theme.

 

I need to change the theme.

 

I already have the 'themeinstaller' add-on. However, I can't find a section 'Import from my computer', which the documentation for the theme specifies for me to upload the theme.

 

Where can I find that section? Or is there anything wrong with the current default theme (which I suspect)?

 

Also, if I would like to change the theme do I have to change it from within the backoffice, or via the folder?
