need highly configurable product attributes with pictures

I probably missed it somewhere in the tuts, but this is what I haven't figured out yet.

 

I have three separate products the only difference being the number of ingredients they contain

 

1. can only have no more than 5 unique ingredients

2.can only have no more than 10 unique ingredients

3.can only have no more than 15 unique ingredients

 

I have 200 ingredients to chose from. I need to show a thumbnail of each ingredient, ideally with a popup larger picture as a hover cover action while picking them.

 

the ingredients themselves have no price, only the the products

 

The first action is to chose product 1 2 or 3

then they begin choosing which ingredients they want in it

ideally the 200 ingredients are filterable ( i can tag them appropriately)

the ingredient thumbnails will populate the order page when chosen

 

once the maximum number of ingredients are chosen you cant choose any more unless they change the product choice upward

 

then they must fill out a text field of a limited number of characters to name their product.

 

THEN they can add to the cart

 

ps: IDEALLY I'd like to get Presta to sort the ingredients from lowest to highest in number for our pickers on the invoice

 

Any advice on how to begin approaching this would be super helpful for a newbe!

OK, from the response it looks like this is a job for a developer and not something that can be done natively in presta
