Add custom text on Categories pages.

Hi,

 

I'm newbee with Prestashop coming from Tomatocart !!! In fact I'm quiet impressed by Prestashop (mine is 1.5.6).

 

On my store, I have 3 categories with products. I have set all for customers to go through the category page to find the right articles. I mean that if my customer wants to find a product in the let's say "computer category, he has to go on the computer category page and then he can click on the right product.

 

On each category page, I would like to add a custome html block on top of the central section of the page. In fact, to do like the "Home Text Editor" does but on other pages.

 

Can anyone help on that ?

you can define description for each category in your store.

usually category description appears on the top of the each category page.

Many thanks for your answer but in fact, what I want is to be a bit more flexible in my custom text.

 

I would like to have the image on a box on the left and then the text on the right but the editor does not allow me to do such think.

you can use module like html box pro with feature to create custom hooks, 

with this module you can create contents on category pages, video example here:
