Order confirmation and New order email subject

Hi,

I've searched this forum but haven't found the answer on how to change "ORDER CONFIRMATION" and NEW ORDER email subject.

I've tried all the methods I've found but none worked.

Can someone please help me with this?

My lang.php file is:

$_LANGMAIL['New order'] = 'Nowe zamówienie';
$_LANGMAIL['Order confirmation'] = 'Potwierdzenie zamówienia';

My PaymentModule.php line 441 is:

Mail::Send((int)$order->id_lang, 'order_conf', Mail::l('Order confirmation', $order->id_lang), $data, $customer->email, $customer->firstname.' '.$customer->lastname, NULL, NULL, $fileAttachment);

I have no idea where to change those two subects. PS 1.4

in mailalerts.php you can find a line like this

Mail::l('New order - #%06d', $id_lang), $order->id

so this means that in order to change your subject in lang.php you have to change your line to

$_LANGMAIL['New order - #%06d'] = 'Nowe zamówienie - #%06d';

in mailalerts.php you can find a line like this
Mail::l('New order - #%06d', $id_lang), $order->id
so this means that in order to change your subject in lang.php you have to change your line to
$_LANGMAIL['New order - #%06d'] = 'Nowe zamówienie - #%06d';

<label>'.$this->l('New order:').' </label>

Should I change it to

<label>'.$this->'Nowe zamówienie'' </label>

as I don't really use english language in my shop?

And what about "order confirmation" as this is e-mail my customers get?

the line that you mention for PS1.5 is 213.

I refer to line 391

where it sends the actual email.

check if exists.

for order confirmation I think that

$_LANGMAIL['Order confirmation'] = 'Potwierdzenie zamówienia';

should work.

what else is in your lang.php file? does anything else work? maybe you have not setup your language directory right?

I have no idea what to change.

Every other mail subject is translated only NEW ORDER and ORDER CONFIRMATION remains in english.

ok 1.4 looks different, the line you're looking for is

    $subject = $this->l('New order', $id_lang);

so it should be translated with your language file.

try changing the code inside the file and check what happens. I don't know what else could be wrong not to take translation from language.php.

Have in mind that in a future update you will loose this changes.

However I still need to change "order confirmation" to "Potwierdzenie zamówienia" Would be great if you could give me a hand with this!

I've changed the PaymentModule.php

Mail::Send((int)$order->id_lang, 'order_conf', Mail::l('Order Confirmation', $order->id_lang)

to

Mail::Send((int)$order->id_lang, 'order_conf', Mail::l('Potwierdzenie zamówienia', $order->id_lang)

But the topic for the confirmation mail remains in english. Is there any other file I should check?
