Restrict Payment Module Depending on Category

Hi,

 

I'm looking to disable / restrict a payment module depending on the category of product the customer is buying.  I have a membership service and I only want to use paypal when customers are purchasing the membership service, however for all other products I want my customers to only be able to use Stripe.  I downloaded the following module, and it works for my paypal module, but not for stripe (I'm using Stripe version 0.9.6 and Prestashop 1.5.5.0).

The developers of this module told me it was a problem with how Stripe is recognized as a payment module, and the code would need to be altered to allow restriction if Stripe. I'm not an expert with code, so I would rather have someone more experienced take a look at this for me.
