Troy
Hi all. I am using 1.5.4.1 and would like to change the Paypal Text "Pay with your credit card or your paypal account". I tried using BO but got this thread. Warning! Your PHP configuration limits the maximum number of fields allowed in a form: 1000 for max_input_vars.Please ask your hosting provider to increase the this limit to 1433 at least or edit the translation file manually. Then I tried public_html/shop/modules/paypal/translations.xml (Did not work) I have searched but cant come to a solution. Please advise. Thanks. El Patron
as the error stated "Please ask your hosting provider to increase the this limit to 1433 at least or edit the translation file manually." if you do not know how to edit your php.ini file then you will need to ask your hosting company to do this for you. Note: I would increase to 1700 just to have some spare room.

Stransky
I am very interested to know how to change the text "PAY WITH YOUR CARD OR YOUR PAYPAL ACCOUNT" as well. I was able to access the Installed Module Translations" but could not find that text anywhere. I am willing to edit a file manually to change this text. I am using Prestashop 1.5.2 Does anyone know what file this text is contained in? Thanks!
vekia
anyone knows why paypal hold translations in own translations.xml file? for me it's more than weird
Stransky
Interestingly, I tried editing the first instance of the text string in /modules/paypal/translations.xml (line 7) and it did not work. I then decided to try the "shotgun" approach and edit every instance of the text in the file. It worked. If I had more time I would go back and edit the file and try each country iso_code separately. Unfortunately, like many of us here, I have a business to run and don't really have the cycles. Anyway, it's something to try if you are stuck since it works :-) Dave
InTowerNet
I am a newbie but this is how I did it for the Paypal USA Module: To change the text "Pay with Paypal" to "Credit Cards Processed by Paypal, No Paypal Account Needed" change /public_html/modules/paypalusa/views/templates/hook/standard.tpl Line 66. Spent 3 hours on this form looking for the answer and never did. I hope this helps someone else.

vekia
yeah, but why not to change in proper way with localization > translations > installed modules translations tool?
supportnisse
The sentence asked for is only present in the strange translation file for PayPal: public_html/yourshop/modules/paypal/translations.xml It is a big file so you need to talk to you host if unable to edit. The file content feels unprofessional since they are using "country ISO" codes in a wrong way, ie to change translation for swedish you must edit under the ISO code of "RE" ?!? kmorgen
So still no solution for this? I can't seem to change that text for Danish :-( I even tried to copy/paste and make a iso code "DA" in translations.xml with no luck either.
