Batching New Orders for Printing?

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I'm coming from Volusion and have been demo'ing Prestashop and the one thing that is bugging me is a very simple function. How to properly manage orders?

In Volusion, when new orders come in you select them and create a batch number, then you print off the orders in that batch file that we then process into our accounting system. All the orders are printed at the same time, and it's pretty easy to manage. We are then able to tell which orders are new and which ones are old because the old orders have a batch number attached to them, and the new ones do not.

In Prestashop, there seems to be no easy way to accomplish this. When an order comes in it just drops in there, and then you have to manually create an invoice and print it off for every single order? This just doesn't seem efficient.

Is there a way to do what Volusion does, or something similar to that "batch" functionality, or is there a better way to manage new orders in Prestashop?

Thank you.
