Free Shipping issue

Version: 1.5.5.0

 

Ok, so I am pretty new to prestashop, but not new to eCommerce, websites and some PHP.  This has me stumped, I have followed post after post without any luck.... to tell you the truth I am beat and frustrated by this free shipping showing up in my checkout.

 

What I have tried is this.

Deleted every single shipping option I had.

Created a new one from scratch and set up weights and prices for the USA only.

My products are set 

Weight (package):  LBS

Not sure why all the zeros are in there, I added 0.2 and it put the rest in there.

Product is set for default carrier of which I set.

 

Shipping tab shows

Handling charges

  $ (tax excl.)

 

Free shipping starts at

  $

 

Free shipping starts at

  LBS

 

In the cart, I tell it to use the only shipping option I have, update the cart and it shows free shipping! If I continue, then it tells me "No carriers available."

Figured it out, only took me two days!  Warehouses! make sure you set your warehouses and shippers to use them...

Where is the Warehouses setting?

You will find it under "Stock" to the right of the admin menu.  Click on the warehouse you created if any, edit and at the bottom you can select the carriers.  Normally you probably will not use a warehouse, I did just so I can see my stock better and to later add more if I expand.
