American Patriot Posted October 2, 2013 Share Posted October 2, 2013 Why do "Shipping:" and "Total Tax:" show on the Summary page of the shopping cart? Those two items should NOT be shown until AFTER a customer puts in an address. I live in the United States, in the state of Texas, and in our state we have to add tax to our shipping costs. If someone from another state orders a product we don’t charge tax so it should only show $0.00 for them. If we sell to someone who lives in the state of Texas we then have to charge tax + tax on shipping so the Total Tax should be shown after the Shipping line. How can you figure tax or shipping charges BEFORE you know where the product is going? That makes no sense at all. How can I get these two fields to NOT show until the Step 5 screen on the multi-step checkout or until after they’ve put in an address on the one-page checkout or is this not possible with Prestashop?
