vekia
open orders > statuses click on edit button near status you want to edit you will see there something like: as you can see - this status uses "cheque" template, so go to the localization > translations tab in your back office then select "email tranlsations" and just edit "cheque" template
uGoGo
To Add a new status email, you need to do two things. Follow the steps above but add a new status. During the process it will ask you to point to an email template from a drop down list, so before you do the above steps, make two versions of your email template, one in plain text and one in html format. Best way to do this is to copy existing templates and rename them and edit the content as you wish. Then upload the new templates to the mail template folder via ftp. Then go back to the first step, and when you are creating your new status you will see the name of the new mail template show up on the drop down list, you choose that and finish all the steps. Test it with an order to see if it works. I download and upload my mail templates from: ~path to shop on server/mail/en/ Hope that helps!
Littlepants
Thanks. I've managed the first steps, but when I get to the translations - email templates translations, I just get a load of blocks. I can't find any of the email templates allocated to statuses. I'll attach a screen shoot email templates.tiff
